Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator with a strong background in construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and adhering to quality standards. This role requires project management skills, proficiency in construction management software, and a solid understanding of pharmaceutical industry requirements. The Construction Project Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact between clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate seamless project execution. On-site opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals using ProCore.
- Collaborate with project teams to monitor progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Oversee compliance with safety regulations and pharmaceutical industry standards throughout the construction process.
- Assist in contract negotiations and manage contractual obligations to mitigate risks.
- Track project costs and manage budgets effectively while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects by coordinating resources efficiently and managing project schedules proactively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 5-10 yrs of experience required.
- Demonstrated expertise in project scheduling, cost estimation, and contract management.
- Solid understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and industry standards specific to pharma facilities.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills for coordinating between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to analyze complex project data to inform decision-making processes.
