Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the dump truck. This role requires the ability to work in various construction environments. Clean driving record is required. Start times could vary depending on demand by the industry.
Duties
- Operate dump truck to transport materials such as gravel, sand, asphalt, and other construction materials to designated locations.
- Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Perform minor mechanical repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules and site requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and any incidents or issues encountered during transport.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and a clean driving record is required.
- Proven, preferably with dump trucks or similar vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on vehicles.
- Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
Experience:
- Dump Truck Driver: 1 year (Preferred)
- CDL Truck Driver: 4 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CDL A (Required)
- CDL B (Preferred)
