Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Program Coordinator to lead and manage impactful community programs in Frederick, MD. Duties

Develop, implement, and evaluate community programs aligned with organizational goals

Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to support program activities

Coordinate logistics for events, workshops, and outreach sessions to maximize participation

Manage social media platforms and marketing campaigns to raise awareness and promote programs

Collect and analyze data to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement

Facilitate public speaking engagements to promote programs and build community partnerships

Oversee administrative tasks including scheduling, reporting, and maintaining records of activities
Requirements

Proven experience in volunteer management and supervising teams

Strong background in program development, project management, and social media management

Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences

Knowledge of DDA, COMAR, or additional DDA background

Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in recruiting and training staff or volunteers

Ability to manage multiple units and staff simultaneously with attention to detail

Experience in fundraising, marketing, data collection, and administrative functions

Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, public health, community development or related field preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of education
