Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping patients achieve excellent oral health. You'll play a vital role in preventive care by providing thorough hygiene treatment, educating patients, and working closely with our dentists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.

Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and help them feel comfortable before treatment
- Review medical and dental histories and perform initial oral health screenings
- Remove plaque, tartar, and stains while providing preventive periodontal care
- Apply fluoride and other preventive treatments as indicated
- Identify and document conditions such as caries, gingivitis, and periodontal disease
- Take digital X-rays and other diagnostic records as needed
- Educate patients of all ages on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
- Provide post-operative instructions following dental procedures
- Assist the dentist by communicating clinical findings and supporting treatment planning
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
- Properly sterilize instruments and maintain treatment rooms according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Monitor and help maintain clinical inventory and supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygienist license
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols
- Experience with digital dental technology preferred
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
- Physical ability to meet the demands of clinical practice
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous dental hygiene experience is preferred but not required—new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
