We’re growing our team at Corvin’s! Join our dynamic retail team as a Furniture Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive success! If you love style, people and creating beautiful spaces? This could be for you! You could be the friendly face guiding customers through their shopping experience, offering expert advice on design, and educating them on products. Your energy will help create a welcoming environment that encourages customer loyalty and boosts sales. Whether assisting with product selection, managing stock, or processing transactions, you’ll play a vital part in our team here at Corvin’s. We are requiring 2 years of experience in retail sales. Commission + hourly wage. Tuesdays 9-5, Thursdays 9-5 and Saturday 9-3.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on furniture products.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable solutions to enhance their living spaces.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions and cash handling.
- Maintain organized merchandise displays.
- Assist with inventory management and checking and receiving shipments.
- Follow up with customers to keep them updated on outstanding orders, future deliveries and new shipments coming in.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales is required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential!
- Knowledge of furniture and designs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset.
- Basic organizational skills to manage customers orders and inventory turn over.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure accurate transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as assisting customers outdoors.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with diverse customers and provide outstanding service.
