Job Summary: The Operations Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and supporting critical system interfaces and operational data flows that support warehouse and supply chain operations. This role serves as a key liaison between warehouse operations, Information Technology, and external business partners to ensure accurate and timely transaction processing across systems.
The Operations Analyst proactively identifies, investigates, and resolves interface and synchronization issues, performs root cause analysis, and drives corrective actions to minimize operational disruptions. In addition, the role develops and maintains operational performance reporting and metrics that support continuous improvement initiatives, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
- System Interface Monitoring and Support
- Monitor warehouse management system (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and related system interfaces to ensure successful transaction processing.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve system synchronization failures, data discrepancies, and transaction errors.
- Perform root cause analysis on interface issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate issue resolution efforts with IT teams, warehouse operations personnel, customers, suppliers, and third-party service providers.
- Escalate critical system issues and track resolutions through completion.
- Validate system corrections and confirm successful transaction processing following issue resolution.
- Maintain documentation related to interface processes, troubleshooting procedures, and system workflows.
Operational Analysis and Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and distribute warehouse performance metrics and operational reports.
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
- Interface success and failure rates
- Inventory accuracy
- Operational exceptions
- Transaction processing performance
- Order fulfillment accuracy
- System performance trends
- Identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare reports and dashboards for management review and decision-making.
- Support operational audits and data validation activities.
Continuous Improvement
- Recommend process enhancements to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and system enhancements.
- Participate in testing and validation of system upgrades, interface changes, and new operational processes.
- Support training initiatives related to system processes and operational best practices.
- Assist in developing standardized procedures to improve data quality and transaction accuracy.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
