Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Solidworks Drafter - I to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics that support various design projects. Your expertise in CAD software and mechanical drafting standards will be essential in translating conceptual designs into accurate, detailed plans that guide manufacturing, construction, and assembly processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects while honing your technical skills in a collaborative environment committed to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Process Engineering Change Requests in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Resolve product and application issues that may arise.
- Generate new or revise existing drawings and specifications for electric motors, components, tools, jigs, fixtures, and equipment layout.
- Calculates material requirements, compiles material lists, and maintains specification files.
- Interprets drawings and specifications using precision measuring instruments
Qualifications
- Certificate or Associate’s degree in utilizing 2D and 3D CAD programs.
- Able to use small hand tools and measuring devices
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve, use scientific principles and creativity to troubleshoot problems
- Strong time management skills involving planning, organizing, and prioritizing your daily tasks
