We are seeking an experienced Senior Client Services Manager to lead high-profile client relationships while helping drive operational excellence across our account management team.
This role is ideal for a strong client services professional who combines strategic marketing expertise with exceptional organizational and operational leadership skills.
Role Overview
The Senior Client Services Manager will oversee a portfolio of key client accounts while helping manage the day-to-day flow of work across internal teams. This individual must be equally comfortable leading client conversations, driving marketing strategy, managing timelines and deliverables, and ensuring projects move efficiently through the agency.
This role is also expected to evolve into a broader leadership position supporting account management workflow, team coordination, and operational consistency across the client services department.
Responsibilities
· Serve as the senior point of contact and account lead for key client relationships.
· Build trusted relationships with executives and business owners.
· Translate client objectives into actionable marketing strategies and coordinated execution plans.
· Lead strategic planning discussions and performance review meetings.
· Identify opportunities for growth, upselling, client retention and expanded client engagement.
· Help oversee and coordinate workflow across the account management team and internal departments.
· Ensure projects move efficiently through internal processes with strong communication, accountability, and follow-through.
· Maintain visibility into active client work, timelines, priorities, and deliverables.
· Proactively identify bottlenecks, risks, or communication gaps before they impact clients.
· Assist in improving communication flow, accountability, and operational consistency across client accounts.
· Partner with agency leadership to help strengthen account management processes and team performance.
· Collaborate closely with creative, web, social, paid media, SEO, and leadership teams to ensure smooth execution.
· Monitor campaign performance and client satisfaction across accounts.
· Manage internal processes, communication flow, and operational consistency as the agency continues to grow.
Qualifications
· 7–12+ years of experience in agency account management, client services, or marketing operations.
· Four-year degree in marketing or related field.
· Proven ability to manage complex client relationships while coordinating multiple simultaneous projects and priorities.
· Strong operational and organizational skills with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
· Experience leading internal teams, mentoring staff, or overseeing workflow.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Strong understanding of digital marketing, including web, SEO, paid media, social media, email marketing, analytics, and reputation management.
· Comfortable operating in a fast-paced agency environment with many moving parts.
· Experience with project management systems such as Basecamp or similar platforms.
· Ability to create structure, prioritize effectively, and maintain visibility across multiple accounts and initiatives simultaneously.
· Home services, HVAC, residential energy, or related industry experience is a plus but not required.
· Must be highly responsive, proactive, and comfortable operating independently in a remote environment.
