Work Schedule is 40 Hours per week.
Overtime is required as needed.
The Maintenance Engineer position consists of duties including but not limited to keeping the buildings in operating order; including kitchen equipment, plumbing, heating, electrical, and construction as necessary.
An Applicant for this position should have 1 year or more experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
Some trades might require certifications. If job requires driving, must have a valid Nevada Driver’s license and a DMV record printout with a clean record.
TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, OR OTHER PARTICULARS REQUIRED TO PERFORM (OR USED IN THE COURSE OF) THE JOB TASKS ARE:
- Full compliment of tools required for carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, etc.
- Tools are the responsibility of the employee, tools will not be provided by the employer
- Some tools and/or equipment provided by the employer. (Check with Department Head)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION REQUIRE:
- Standing/Walking – throughout the entire work shift.
- Sitting- performed on a regular basis.
- Squatting or kneeling – performed on a regular basis.
- Bending- performed on a continuous basis.
- Twisting- performed on a regular basis.
- Lifting – weights up to 50 pounds is performed on a continuous basis, weights up to 75 pounds performed on a regular basis, weights up 100 pounds or more performed on a regular to occasional basis.
- Climbing- (ladder/stairs) performed on a minimum to occasional basis.
- Reaching above the shoulders- performed on a regular basis.
- Pushing/Pulling- performed on an occasional basis.
- Repetitive use of the hands- simple grasping of weights up to 20 pounds is performed on a regular basis. Fine manipulation is required for writing, operating tools, etc.
- Driving- performed on an occasional basis, only if specific job requires.
- Crawling- performed on an occasional basis.
- Hand-Eye Coordination
- Advanced mathematics skills
- Reading/Writing
- Basic communication skills
- Ability to retain information
- Good grooming/personal hygiene
Any or all of the above functions may be performed alone or at the same time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Depending on the job tasks, Maintenance Engineers might handle a wide variety of chemical solutions. Protective gear is available. M.S.D.S. Books are available on-site. Hazards associated with working around machinery and electrical sources are common variable in job tasks. Work is performed in both an indoor/outdoor atmosphere in an extreme range of stable and variegates conditions.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
