Located in the beautiful coastal community of New Bern, Bayview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is one of the leading providers of short term rehabilitation and long term care in Eastern NC. Our 60 bed state of the art Skilled Nursing Facility and 12-bed Assisted Living wing have recently undergone renovation.
We provide residents with a full range of long-term care and rehabilitation services, along with a variety of engaging social and recreational activities.
We’re looking for a caring and dependable Transportation Assistant- CNA to help our residents get to their medical appointments safely and comfortably. You’ll accompany residents throughout their visit, offering reassurance, support, and clear communication back to our care team.
When not on the road, you’ll join our floor aides to assist with daily care tasks appropriate to your CNA skill set. Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
What You’ll Do:
Provide safe, timely assistance with transportation to appointments
Stay with residents during visits and advocate for their needs
Assist aides on the floor with clinical care tasks
Build trusting relationships with residents and staff
The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established facility policy and procedures.
What You Bring:
CNA certification
Valid CPR/BLS certification- REQUIRED AT HIRE
Valid driver’s license
Compassion, patience, and strong communication skills
