Job Description:
Reporting to the Vice President for Student Life, the Associate Director for Housing Operations plays a leadership role in shapinghousing policies, optimizing housing systems, and aligning operational functions with student life initiatives and institutionalgoals. This role serves as the primary liaison between Residential Life, Informational Technology, and Facilities Operations. Thisis a twelve-month live off position.
- Aid in the management, operations, and upkeep of database systems and software that are used by the departmentincluding access control (CBORD CS Gold/Access}, housing database (Housing Cloud}, Banner, BroncoCONNECT andothers.

Assist in the project management and follow up on facilities and technology projects in the residence halls including workorders, room condition reports, damage billing, and student storage

Serve as the Housing Cloud system administrator, configuring applications and portals, permissions, automations, communications, and reports.

Build and maintain dashboards and routine reports on occupancy, demand trends, space utilization, and other key metricsensuring an intuitive and effective user experience while maintaining process documentation.

Coordinate housing assignments, move-in/move-out processes, keys/access, and operational logistics for residential camps & conferences

Analyze occupancy trends and provide data-driven recommendations to optimize housing utilization

Lead department's marketing efforts including the print media, webpage, and social media in partnership with the Associate Director for Residence Life

Supervise one full-time complex coordinator and student workers

Develop, review, and manage housing licenses and agreements in collaboration with campus partners

Act as a key liaison for students and families, providing information and resolution regarding housing concerns, assignments, and processes.

Coordinate all department communications related to residence hall operations, ensuring clarity and accessibility ofhousing policies, deadlines, and procedural updates.

Work closely with Facilities, Dining, Student Financial Services, Student Activities, The Farrell Student and Community Center, University Police, Residence Life, and other campus partners to ensure successful program execution

Monitor timelines and operational readiness for year-round housing initiatives

Serve as an on-call responder for emergencies,

Participate in the student conduct process as a hearing officer.

Other duties as assigned, including advising and supporting student groups
Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required
-
2-4 years of experience in housing operations, conference services, auxiliary services, facilities coordination, or relatedfield
-
Proficiency in housing management software, database systems and office software
-
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and provide strategic recommendations.

Experience coordinating complex logistics or large-scale programs
-
Experience supervising student staff

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree

5+ years of experience in housing operations, conference services, auxiliary services, facilities coordination, or relatedfield

Proficiency in Housing Cloud or similar housing management software

Proficiency in Banner or similar student information systems
