Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and heavy-duty vehicles to transport materials, equipment, and goods efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with mechanical knowledge will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate a variety of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers to deliver materials and equipment.
- Load and unload cargo using mechanical knowledge and appropriate equipment such as front loader trucks or roll-off containers.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks manually or with mechanical aids to assist in loading or unloading materials as needed.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly.
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating heavy-duty trucks such as dump trucks, flatbeds, or tractor-trailers.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery operations, or related roles with a strong safety record.
- Mechanical knowledge of truck systems, including manual transmissions and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes.
- Familiarity with different types of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, dump truck, flatbed, and tractor-trailer vehicles.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, precision maneuvering, and adherence to traffic regulations.

Pay: $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
