About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to lead our team at Comfort Inn in Glenmont, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about guest service, team leadership, revenue growth, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all hotel operations including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Breakfast, and Sales
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and service standards
- Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, training, and employee development
- Monitor hotel financial performance, budgets, payroll, and expenses
- Drive revenue through effective rate management and sales initiatives
- Maintain compliance with Choice Hotels brand standards and quality assurance requirements
- Coordinate property improvement projects and vendor relationships
- Foster a positive work environment and strong team culture
Qualifications:
- Prior hotel management experience required
- Choice Hotels experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience with hotel revenue management and budgeting
- Knowledge of property management systems and hospitality software
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support hotel operations
