UTS Systems, LLC is a rapidly growing defense contractor that manufactures expeditionary shelter systems for the United States Military and Allied Forces. We are seeking high quality and energetic production personnel to work at our Fairfield, VA headquarters in the areas of fabric welding, sewing, and shelter integration with on-the-job training.
Integration Assembler:
The Integration department assembles shelter components into finished product. As constructed assemblies are completed at the fabric welding and sewing stations, they are transported to the integration area where they are attached, tied, strapped, zipped and bolted together to form a completed unit that is ready to deploy.

Essential Qualifications:
· Ability to stand for long periods of time.
· Ability to lift 40 lbs.
· Strong attention to detail.
· Ability to work alone and as a member of a team.
· Aptitude to learn on the job and follow the manufacturing processes.
· Ability to communicate and solve problems with team members.
Essential Duties:
· Assemble each unit per the size, color and configuration specified on the order.
· Check and validate that each piece being integrated into the finished product meets our quality standards.
· If quality exception is identified, communicate that problem to the necessary team members and follow the repair guidelines to eliminate the exception.
· Pack crates with finished goods, verifying that all necessary parts are physically present and accounted for in the appropriate documents.
