EDU Healthcare is hiring a School Nurse to support training and delegation for student health needs, supporting health plans and safety of students, participation in the IEP process, responding to health calls for all students, vision/hearing and dental screenings, maintaining accuracy and compliance with student records.
- Assess, monitor, and manage students with chronic health conditions
- Administer first aid, medications, and emergency care when needed
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students
- Ensure compliance with state and federal laws, as well as district health policies
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students’ health concerns, treatments, and follow-ups
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and staff to support student wellness and academic success
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and committed to children’s well-being
