About Pizzas & Cream
Pizzas & Cream has been a beloved part of the West Virginia community since March 2015. What started as a backyard wood-fired oven experiment on our family farm has grown into a thriving restaurant known for handcrafted pizzas and homemade ice cream made with real ingredients and real care. We are now opening a brand-new second location in South Charleston July 2026, and we are looking for the right leader to help us bring that same community spirit to a new home.

The Opportunity
As our General Manager at the South Charleston location, you will be the heart of daily operations. You will lead a team of dedicated staff, build relationships with our guests, and uphold the standards that have made Pizzas & Cream a local favorite. This is an exciting ground floor opportunity to shape a new location from day one.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of 20+ employees

Create and manage weekly staff schedules to ensure proper coverage and labor efficiency

Train and mentor Assistant Managers to build internal leadership capacity

Develop and maintain fair, efficient work schedules

Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations including opening and closing procedures

Maintain food quality, safety, and consistency standards across all menu items

Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost controls to support profitability goals

Foster a welcoming, team-oriented culture that reflects our community values

Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally

Communicate regularly with ownership and contribute to strategic planning
What We’re Looking For

2+ years of restaurant management experience (required)

Proven track record of leading and motivating a team

Experience building or managing staff schedules

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Detail-oriented with solid organizational habits

Passion for food, hospitality, and community

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary: $55,000 – $65,000 (based on experience)
