Average Weekly Earnings: $1,600
Regional Pay: Starts at $0.60 per mile
Local Pay: $22.00 per hour
Stop Pay: $25.00 per stop
The Route: Local runs within the LA Basin, plus regional turns from Jurupa Valley to Fresno and back.
Freight Type: Mix of Live Load, Live Unload, and Drop and Hook.
The Good: 70% Drop and Hook.
The Bad: Expect heavy traffic congestion and tight, crowded customer yards.
Shift: Night shift, rotating schedule.
Weekend Work: Yes, required.
Holidays: Holiday work may be required based on customer capacity and volume needs.
Home Time: 34-hour restarts, taken daily/weekly depending on the run cycle.
Experience: Minimum 6 months of solo tractor-trailer experience required.
