We are seeking a Manager, Functional Processes to lead high-priority business initiatives that support DHL eCommerce Americas' 2030 Ambition. This role is ideal for a project management and continuous improvement professional who can successfully manage projects from concept through implementation while driving operational excellence across the organization.
The successful candidate will serve as a key partner in delivering cross-functional initiatives, improving business processes, supporting transformation efforts, and ensuring sustainable execution of strategic priorities. This role combines PMO disciplines, process improvement expertise, and hands-on implementation responsibilities to help the business achieve measurable results.
- Lead and execute cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives that support business objectives and operational priorities.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and implementing sustainable process enhancements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to support transformation programs, including process improvements, digital adoption initiatives, and organizational change efforts.
- Maintain project governance and support the consistent execution of functional strategies, standards, and best practices.
- Analyze business challenges, evaluate performance data, and develop recommendations that improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide operational and project leadership support during periods of transition, peak demand, or capability gaps to ensure business continuity.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to design, implement, and scale process improvements while driving adoption and long-term success.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Five (5) to six (6) years of project management experience leading business or operational initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
- Experience driving process improvement, continuous improvement, operational excellence, or transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
- First Choice, Six Sigma, Lean, or similar continuous improvement certification.
- PMP or other project management certification.
- Experience building business cases and using consultative problem-solving techniques to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project delivery practices.
- Experience supporting organizational change management and digital adoption initiatives.
