Job Overview
Stone Innovations is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Natural Stone Fabricator to join our growing team. The role involves transforming raw materials into finished products through precise fabrication techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and a commitment to adhering to quality and safety standards. Position Responsibilities
- Fabricate natural and engineered stone countertops from shop drawings.
- Operate fabrication equipment, including bridge saws, polishers, and hand tools.
- Cut, shape, polish, and finish granite, quartz, marble, quartzite, and other stone surfaces.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Measure materials precisely using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices to meet dimensional specifications.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks safely while maintaining proper posture and using appropriate equipment.
- Operate heavy equipment like forklifts and other machinery safely for materials handling and transportation within the workspace.
- Read and interpret shop drawings and production specifications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in stone fabrication and operating stone fabrication equipment is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations accurately.
- Experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory; training may be provided.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with materials handling enhances your suitability for this role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
