Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs through personalized recommendations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage to enhance their experience
- Upsell products by highlighting new arrivals, promotions, or complementary items to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented and accessible
- Conduct inventory checks, stock replenishment, and assist with stockroom organization to keep the store running smoothly
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience required, especially in the Cannabis Industry or similar customer service environments
- Strong communication skills to educate customers clearly and confidently about products
- Basic math skills for retail math calculations, balancing registers, and processing transactions accurately
