Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, attentive service to enhance their café experience
- Prepare high-quality coffee beverages and food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in accordance with health regulations
- Manage food preparation tasks including basic food handling, serving, and ensuring proper food presentation
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and organizing the café area to ensure smooth operations
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills by balancing multiple tasks during busy periods while maintaining quality service
Qualifications
- Prior barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is highly preferred
- Proven cashiering skills with familiarity using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction processing
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively
- Experience in the food industry or café setting is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
