Join our dynamic team at Real Life Botanicals as a Cannabis Sales Representative! This energetic role is ideal for a motivated sales professional eager to drive growth, build lasting B2B relationships, and excel in the fast-paced cannabis industry. As a brand ambassador, you will leverage your expertise in business development, negotiation, and client management to expand our market presence across Upstate New York.
This position starts part-time with a clear path to full-time employment. We are actively seeking driven individuals ready to grow with us into a long-term, full-time role.
Compensation
- Base salary of $40,000 annually (full-time)
- 3% commission on sales
- Part-time start: $400 per week
- Performance Bonus: $100 bonus for each new store account secured (stores we are not yet in)
- Full-time transition: Achieve $80,000 in monthly sales for one full month while working full-time hours to convert to full-time salaried position
- Must have reliable personal vehicle (mileage and gas not reimbursed)
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting B2B clients in the Upstate New York cannabis market to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Conduct warm calling and proactive outreach to generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and technical sales discussions, showcasing our extensive portfolio of premium brands.
- Manage customer accounts using CRM systems (Salesforce or similar), ensuring accurate tracking of interactions, pipelines, and follow-ups.
- Negotiate and close deals effectively while maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
- Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility and market penetration.
- Analyze sales data regularly to identify trends, opportunities, and strategies for territory optimization.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B sales, business development, or enterprise sales (software/technology sales experience is a strong plus).
- Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets through effective negotiation and closing.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and experience managing customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate product benefits clearly and persuasively.
- Strong account management skills and a relationship-focused approach.
- Familiarity with sales analysis and marketing strategies.
- Leadership qualities and a collaborative team mindset are highly desirable.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license.
