The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in industrial engineering principles, standardized work development, labor standards, line balancing, capacity analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies. This role requires extensive collaboration with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Materials, Safety, and Launch teams to support both current operations and future manufacturing programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing, discrete assembly, or complex mixed-model production environments preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in:
- Time studies and work measurement
- Labor standards development
- Line balancing
- Standardized work
- Capacity analysis
- Layout planning and material flow optimization
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with industrial engineering and productivity analysis tools.
- Experience with CAD and facility layout software.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Familiarity with engineering software such as Visual Basic, MS Project, ABAQUS, or similar applications.
- Strong understanding of: Manufacturing systems, Production methods
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
