Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a special education paraprofessional beginning with the 2026-27 school year. Must be willing and able to work with students with severe needs in the Severe Needs Program at our Middle School. Must be willing and able to support students with a variety of special needs. Must be a flexible team player and have the genuine desire to work with middle school ages. Must be able to assist in small group activities or work one-on-one to follow the educational support plans for the students.
This is a full time position, working on all student contact days plus three professional development days determined by the principal. The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.95 - $21.51 depending on previous experience. A higher starting wage rate may be granted to applicants who hold one of the following: a current Colorado educator's license, bachelor's degree, RBT certification, CNA license or RMA/CMA certificate. This position is full time, 7.5 hrs per day, and is eligible for benefits.
