Key Responsibilities
- Patient Support: Prep treatment areas, escort patients to therapy stations, and assist them with exercises under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Clinic Maintenance: Maintain a spotless environment by sanitizing equipment, changing linens, and organizing therapy tools between patient sessions.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist the front desk with light administrative duties, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and updating patient charts.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with therapists regarding patient comfort and clinic flow.
Qualifications
- Experience Required: Minimum of 6 months of prior experience as a Physical Therapy Aide, Rehabilitation Aide, or in a direct clinical healthcare setting is required.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Key Traits: Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, high empathy, and the physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist patients with movement.
- Professionalism: Strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines.
