About Hope Counseling
At Hope Counseling, we believe that providing exceptional care shouldn't mean burning out on an island by yourself.
We have built a warm, collaborative, and deeply supportive team that is genuinely here to help you—whether that’s staffing complex cases together, sharing clinical wisdom, or offering a practice family to lean on. We handle the heavy lifting behind the scenes so you can focus entirely on your clients.
Is This You?
We designed this position to give therapists of all backgrounds the support, flexibility, and stability they deserve:
- The Overworked, Unstable School-Based Therapist: Tired of constantly fighting school schedules, state testing, holiday breaks, and summer gaps just to keep a consistent routine? We offer predictable, year-round client hours without the constant disruptions or administrative red tape.
- The Semi-Retired Therapist: Looking to step back from full-time practice without leaving the profession entirely? Enjoy seeing a manageable caseload in a low-stress, fully supported environment where we take care of all the business and tech logistics for you.
- The Clinician Seeking Supplemental Income: Already working daytime hours or in a separate practice, but looking for a reliable way to add afternoon and evening appointments for extra income without the overhead?
- The Burdened Solo Provider: Exhausted from managing billing, scheduling, and intake all on your own? Step out of isolation and back into a practice that handles the operational load.
- The Practicing Clinician Wanting Low-Pressure Autonomy: Looking for a safe, supportive place to focus on client care without the terrifying pressure of quota-driven billing expectations or micromanagement? We offer an environment where you can practice with clinical confidence and peace of mind.
Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in an in-person contract capacity.
This role is ideal for a fully licensed clinician who wants to build a thriving, consistent caseload—or maintain a focused side-caseload—backed by full operational support. We are looking for someone available during afternoon and evening hours to meet peak client demand in a supportive group setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy in an in-person setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and PTSD.
- Work across a diverse demographic, with a willingness to see clients of all ages (children, adolescents, and adults).
- Collaborate with colleagues during regular case staffing and peer consultation.
- Maintain clear, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.
What We Offer You
- $60/Billable Hour: Competitive contract rate for completed clinical sessions.
- Heavy Administrative Support: Our team handles scheduling, billing, credentialing, and intake so you don't carry the load alone.
- Low-Stress, Flexible Environment: Work the hours that fit your lifestyle without micro-management or unrealistic productivity quotas.
- True Team Environment: Ongoing case staffing, peer support, and a culture centered on community and clinical excellence.
- Path to Stability: Strong potential to transition from a contract position into a full-time salaried role as your caseload grows.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential in good standing.
- Willingness to work in-person with client availability during afternoons and evenings.
- Comfort and competence working across the lifespan (all age groups).
- Experience or strong interest in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and PTSD.
- A collaborative heart and a desire to be part of a supportive team.
