MIVS is a rapidly growing outpatient Interventional Radiology practice dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality, minimally invasive care to patients throughout South Georgia. We are looking for a motivated, desired but not required bilingual Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment and wants to grow alongside our practice.

Schedule
- Two full clinic days (9 hours each)
- One half-day clinic on Fridays (4 hours)
- 22 hours per week guaranteed
- Opportunity for additional hours (up to approximately 30 hours/week) as the practice continues to grow
- Potential for conversion to a full-time position
Responsibilities
- Prepare patient records for physician visits
- Obtain vital signs and parts of the medical history
- Must tolerate wounds in order to remove dressings, obtain photos and apply wound dressings
- Assist with in-office procedures and set up sterile tables
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms
- Triage patient phone calls and process in-coming referrals for appointments
- Submit prior authorizations for procedures
- Document accurately within the electronic medical record and place orders given by the provider
- Fax all completed clinic notes to referring providers
- Educate patients and provide exceptional customer service
- Maintain inventory and clinical supplies
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (experience may be considered)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable with technology and electronic medical records
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
