American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position requiring recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience and advanced critical care skills including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.

18-bed ICU in a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes surgical, trauma, neuro, plastics, multiple organ failure, and sepsis cases
-
Day/night rotation, 36 hours per week

Advanced hemodynamic monitoring performed on unit
-
ICP monitoring including ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVDs
-
Management of ventilated patients
-
Administration of pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
-
Assistance with line insertion and maintenance, including PA lines with waveform interpretation
-
Care of lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
-
Active NH or compact RN license required

BLS certification required

Minimum 2 references from managers required for consideration

Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma ICU experience within the last 2 years required

Proficiency with advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and vasoactive medication administration

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
