Qualifications:
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active state licensure to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Possession of or eligibility for ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric populations in a school environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct therapy services, track progress, and document outcomes according to school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success
- Participate in team meetings, annual reviews, and ongoing professional development
