American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract at a long-term acute care hospital in Tampa, FL.

Night shift hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract assignment
-
Respiratory therapy department in a long-term acute care hospital setting
-
Serves both inpatient and outpatient populations
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday coverage required
-
Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapy experience

NBRC RRT or CRT certification required
-
Active Florida RT license required (license required if applicable)

BLS and ACLS certifications required, must be through the American Heart Association (AHA); RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway maintenance, delivery of medicated aerosols, pulmonary function studies, blood gases, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and arterial line insertion

Assists physicians with both invasive and non-invasive procedures, including intubations

Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate

Previous employment at any Kindred Hospital facility, whether permanent or contract, must be disclosed during the consideration process
