CNC Press Brake Setup/Operator – Amada Equipment

Metal Integrity Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Press Brake Setup/Operator to join our precision sheet metal fabrication team in Carbondale, Pennsylvania.
We are a growing manufacturer supporting aerospace, defense, commercial, and industrial customers with high-quality fabricated components and assemblies. This position works with modern Amada CNC press brake equipment in a fast-paced job shop environment producing both prototype and production work.
Equipment
Operators will work with:
- Amada FBD8025NT (5-axis backgauge)
- Amada RG-100
- Amada RG-80
Responsibilities
- Setup and operate Amada CNC press brakes
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
- Select tooling and perform accurate machine setups
- Program and adjust bend sequences as required
- Form tight-tolerance sheet metal components
- Verify dimensions and angles using inspection equipment
- Work closely with laser, engineering, quality, and production teams
- Troubleshoot forming and setup issues
- Maintain organized work areas and support continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC press brake setup/operator experience
- Experience with Amada press brakes strongly preferred
- Ability to perform setups independently
- Understanding of bend deductions, material behavior, and tooling selection
- Ability to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T
- Experience working in a fabrication or job shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
Preferred Experience
- Multi-axis backgauge experience
- Aerospace or tight-tolerance fabrication experience
- Experience with stainless, aluminum, and mild steel forming
- Forklift or overhead crane experience is a plus
