KP Staffing is now hiring material handlers for a company that manufactures specialty tools/components in Parker County !
Job Summary
The material handler will accurately pull and stage materials for work orders, maintain trace documentation, and support inventory and shipping functions in a manufacturing environment.
Pay
$17.50 per hour
Shift
1st shift: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday – Friday
Duties
- Load outgoing shipments of material accurately and safely
- Ensure all material is correctly labeled, packaged, and loaded on the correct freight carrier
- Conduct cycle counts of inventory, materials, and supplies in stock
- Post inventory totals to records manually and in computer systems
- Audit outbound shipments for customers to ensure compliance
- Analyze inventory discrepancies by researching variances and identifying root causes
- Track movements of inventory
- Pull and stage material required for work orders
- Record required trace documentation
- Work independently within established procedures associated with the job function
Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of material handling / inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Forklift experience required
- Basic computer skills (MS Office-Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous experience working with cycle counting and inventory maintenance
- Knowledge of ERP / CRM systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment
