We are Cody Builders Supply and we are a 30+ year old steel fabrication company seeking an Inventory Manager / Yard Boss to oversee material and scrap inventory across our three Austin-area locations.
Inventory Manager / Yard Boss
Location: North & Northeast Austin, TX. Primary work location: 8000 Blue Goose Rd, Austin, TX 78653
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (On-Site)
Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain steel inventory, materials, and scrap
- Track inventory levels and material movement between locations
- Keep yards clean, organized, and efficient
- Load, unload, and move materials using a forklift
Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience doing this type of work before
- Must speak, read, and write English proficiently
- Forklift operating experience required
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in Texas weather
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment and employment testing and drug screening
Compensation & Benefits:
- $18 to start, depending on experience. Competitive pay based on experience. Tell us if you think you're worth more :)
- Full-time, stable employment 8:30AM-5PM, Monday-Friday
