Position: Facilities Manager
Status: Full-Time/Salary Exempt
Reports to: Director of Facilities/Administrator
JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The facilities manager is responsible for maintenance and overall appearance and repair of our Wenatchee kitchen, facilities and ground maintenance. The Facilities Manager will directly oversee, supervise and coordinate all maintenance, kitchen and facilities activities.
Essential Functions

1. Oversees the coordination of building space allocation and layout and facility expansion.
2. Coordinate with Executive Management and Finance Department plans, budgets and schedules for any facility modifications.
3. Inspects and reports on construction and installation progress.
4. Initiates planned maintenance programs for a variety of equipment.
5. Manages preventive maintenance of facility equipment, including HVAC and other equipment.
6. Ensure all staff have the appropriate safety equipment and tools to performed assigned
tasks.
7. Oversees the cleaning and sanitizing, laundry, kitchen and maintenance staff of facility.
8. Supervise and coordinate the efficient and professional implementation and delivery of
all housekeeping and laundry services.
9. Assure all maintenance, housekeeping, kitchen and laundry staff are performing
their assignments in a professional caring manner to serve our clients.
10. Provide support and assistance whenever and wherever to assure quality service is
being provided.
11. Oversee and coordinate the security of the facility and lead liaison for emergency
personnel and law enforcement/first responders.
12. Train and evaluate staff.
13. Ability to read and interpret WAC, NFPA, DOH, and other pertinent regulations
governing Residential Facilities.
14. Understand and facilitate federal confidentiality laws, 42 CFR, and protects client
confidentiality/anonymity and assures no information is shared without proper authorization.
15. Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position supervises kitchen, maintenance, housekeeping and laundry staff.
Work Environment
Work is regularly performed in a combination of office and shop environments and is regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift , push, pull up to 50lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, the position requires overnight on-call duty and the ability to work during nonstandard hours when the need arises.
Travel
Local travel between facilities is expected.
Required Education and Experience
1. BS or associate degree with technical training in plant engineering or factory/plant
maintenance, or equivalent experience.
2. Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience and responsibility in a
maintenance field, two of which were holding a supervisory position directing a
multi-functional maintenance, facilities and kitchen staff.
Preferred Education and Experience
Facilities management experience in the industry.
