Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Part-Time Night Auditor, where you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations and exceptional guest experiences. As a Night Auditor, you will oversee front desk activities, perform nightly financial reconciliations, and uphold the highest standards of safety and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures efficiently while providing friendly, professional customer service.
- Manage reservation systems such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS) to update bookings, modify guest information, and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions, including billing, payments, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests via phone or in person with a positive attitude and effective problem-solving skills.
- Maintain security protocols by monitoring CCTV surveillance, conducting property inspections, and following hotel emergency procedures.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to ensure seamless communication between shifts.
- Support guest relations by providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction during the night hours.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or comparable property management systems (PMS) a plus but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and night audit processes. We will train you!
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences under pressure.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours while maintaining high energy levels and attention to detail.
- Previous resort experience or hotel experience is preferred; familiarity with hotel management software is highly advantageous.
