Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. We are looking for Full Time (40 Hours) and Part-Time (3:00 - 6:00 pm)
Essential Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must pass DSS Central Registry Background Check, DSS Fingerprint Background Check and SLED Check.
- Must complete a Physical.
- Must have a TB Test.
- Must be able to speak fluent English.
- Must have vision and hearing adequate to maintain visual and/or auditory contact with children at all times.
- Must have sufficient mobility and strength to be able to lift a 40lb. child off the floor/ground.
- Must be able to get down to eye level with the children and be able to quickly reach an endangered or hurt child at a distance of 60 ft.

- Responsible for the care and education of a group of children as part of a teaching team.
- Plan and implement the curriculum.
- Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Support social and emotional development and provide positive guidance.
- Create an environment that supports physical and intellectual development.
- Establish positive and productive relationships with families.
- Maintain a commitment to professionalism/community.
- Comply with and maintain all licensing standards.
- Maintain positive attitude/relationship with staff and co-workers.
- Complete annual DSS required training hours.
Experience
- Prior childcare experience is preferred but not required.
Pay: $10.00 - $11.00 per hour
