Bear Creek Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking an experienced RN Manager to join our nursing leadership team.
This is a full-time, salaried leadership position designed for an experienced Registered Nurse with a strong Skilled Nursing background and previous experience in Unit Management, Risk Management, Infection Prevention, or a similar clinical leadership role.
We are looking for more than a strong clinician. We need a nurse leader who understands the complexities of long-term care, knows how to support and develop nursing teams, and can help drive clinical quality, compliance, and positive resident outcomes.
Previous Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) leadership experience is strongly preferred.

What You'll Do
As an RN Manager, you'll work closely with the Director of Nursing and clinical leadership team to support nursing operations, staff performance, resident safety, regulatory compliance, and quality outcomes.
Responsibilities may include:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight to nursing staff
- Support day-to-day nursing operations and resident care
- Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
- Monitor changes in resident condition and ensure appropriate clinical follow-up
- Assist with incident investigation, documentation, and risk management
- Identify clinical trends and opportunities for quality improvement
- Support infection prevention and control practices throughout the facility
- Monitor compliance with infection control policies and procedures
- Participate in clinical meetings, audits, care planning, and quality initiatives
- Assist with survey preparation and ongoing survey readiness
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Partner with physicians, providers, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members
- Help maintain compliance with state and federal Skilled Nursing regulations
- Serve as a visible, hands-on nursing leader throughout the facility
What We're Looking For
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing – REQUIRED
- Previous Skilled Nursing Facility or Long-Term Care experience strongly preferred
- Previous Unit Manager, Risk Manager, Infection Preventionist, ADON, Nurse Manager, or comparable clinical leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Skilled Nursing regulations and clinical standards
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Experience coaching and developing nursing staff
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to identify problems, take ownership, and follow through on solutions
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Strong commitment to resident safety, quality, and regulatory compliance
Infection Prevention experience or certification is a plus. The Leader We're Looking For

You're visible on the units. You know your residents. You support your nurses and CNAs. You recognize potential problems before they become bigger issues, and you're comfortable holding yourself and your team accountable to high clinical standards.
