Schedule
- Full-Time
- Regular start time: 5:00 AM
- During the training period, your schedule may vary.
- Once training is completed, your regular shift will begin at 5:00 AM.
- Overtime is required based on business needs.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supervise and support a team of delivery drivers.
- Plan and coordinate daily delivery routes for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor route progress and communicate updates with operations.
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, Hours of Service, and company policies.
- Manage Electronic Logging Device (ELD) compliance and driver documentation.
- Prepare daily routing and driver schedules.
- Coordinate route adjustments, add-on deliveries, and operational changes.
- Conduct weekly driver safety meetings.
- Train, coach, and mentor drivers on safety and company procedures.
- Assist management with employee performance evaluations.
- Verify vehicle temperatures before dispatch.
- Ensure trailers, trucks, and facilities are secured at the end of each shift.
- Support warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations as needed.
- Maintain food safety and transportation compliance standards.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 5 years of commercial driving experience.
- 3+ years of transportation or driver supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
- Experience using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs).
- Strong computer and communication skills.
- Excellent leadership and organizational abilities.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Preferred
- Previous food distribution or foodservice transportation experience strongly preferred.
- Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Experience supervising route delivery drivers.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
