Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Boiler Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of our boiler systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in industrial maintenance. This role is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heating systems, contributing to overall facility performance.
Duties
- Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boilers and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot issues related to hydraulics, HVAC/R, and mechanical systems.
- Read and interpret schematics to diagnose problems effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and service reports.
- Collaborate with field service teams to address customer service needs related to boiler operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Boiler Operator or in a similar role within industrial settings.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with a focus on HVAC systems, hydraulics, and industrial mechanics.
- Familiarity with boiler operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and technical documents effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
