Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP licensure or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience working with children or in school settings is advantageous
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings for students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions to address a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Document student progress and maintain comprehensive records in accordance with school protocols
- Engage in team meetings with educators, support staff, and parents to evaluate and adjust student goals
- Offer prevention, assessment, and remediation services for speech, language, and communication disorders
