OWL Early Intervention Program is seeking a dedicated and experienced Educational Director (Special Education Teacher certificate required) to lead our Brooklyn-based center.
We provide center-based ABA, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays through a collaborative, multidisciplinary model focused on individualized care, peer interaction, and evidence-based practices.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a center, oversee ABA programming, and remain actively involved in teaching and working directly with children.
Responsibilities
· Oversee daily center operations, including staffing and scheduling
· Provide direct classroom instruction to children
· Implement IFSPs/Progress Reports
· Oversee ABA programming and behavior strategies
· Supervise teachers, ABA staff, and therapists (Speech & OT)
· Ensure compliance with NYS Early Intervention regulations
· Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
· Monitor student progress and adjust strategies
· Lead curriculum development
· Foster a positive and structured environment
· Maintain Children’s records
Requirements
· Master’s degree in Special Education (required)
· NYS Certification: Students with Disabilities (Birth–Grade 2)
· Experience with autism and developmental delays
· Strong understanding of ABA
· Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Ability to balance leadership and teaching responsibilities
Compensation & Benefits
· Salary: $75,000 – $110,000+
