We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early literacy, math, physical development, and social-emotional skills tailored to infants’ needs
- Foster a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that incorporate Montessori methods, sensory activities, and early intervention strategies
- Monitor and document each child's developmental progress through observations and assessments aligned with childhood development standards
- Collaborate with families to share insights on their child's growth and provide guidance on early childhood education best practices
- Manage classroom routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment
- Incorporate specialized techniques for working with children requiring additional support in areas such as special education or behavior management
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development and classroom management techniques
- Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, especially with infants and toddlers
- Familiarity with childhood development milestones and early intervention strategies
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that integrate literacy education, physical activities, and age-specific learning goals
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques to foster positive classroom behavior
- Knowledge of standardized testing methods relevant to early childhood assessment when applicable
- Experience with Montessori or other child-centered educational philosophies is a plus
- Competence in childcare safety procedures, child welfare practices, and classroom experience in private or daycare settings
