Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
- Respond to phone calls promptly, utilizing effective phone etiquette to assist guests with their needs.
- Address guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and ensure satisfactory resolutions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
- Promote hotel services and upsell additional offerings to enhance the guest experience.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within a hotel or resort setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and hotel management software is desirable.
