Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to join our team in Danville and Sidell, Illinois area who are committed to providing exceptional support and personalized care to individuals across various care settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents and clients by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a warm, respectful environment. Responsibilities
- Assist residents and clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing behavior, and reporting changes promptly
- Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal consumption as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of living spaces through cleaning duties, laundry, and organization to promote a safe environment
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer residents with mobility challenges
- Document care activities accurately in compliance with facility policies and state regulations
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or home health care is highly preferred
- Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is advantageous
- Certifications such as CPR, First Aid, and Hoyer lift training are desirable but not mandatory; willingness to obtain required certifications is expected
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining compassion and patience
- Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and reporting changes effectively
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely when assisting residents or handling equipment
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information

Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
