We're seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Part-Time Nursery Assistant to join our team and help us create a vibrant and thriving nursery environment. What You'll Do:
- Become a Plant Guru: Share your expertise with customers, guiding them towards the perfect plant selections and providing expert care advice.
- Nurture Nature: Tend to our diverse plant collection with loving care, ensuring they flourish through watering, fertilizing, pruning, and more.
- Create a Stunning Oasis: Help us maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing nursery that inspires and delights our visitors.
- Be a Plant Detective: Identify and address plant health issues, keeping our green friends happy and healthy.
- Team Up and Thrive: Collaborate with our friendly team to unload deliveries, manage inventory, and support daily nursery operations.
- Enjoy the Great Outdoors: Work in a beautiful, natural setting and experience the joy of working with plants every day.
What We're Looking For:
- Plant Passion: You have a genuine love for plants and a solid understanding of different species, care techniques, and Florida landscaping needs.
- Experience Advantage: Previous experience in a nursery, garden center, landscaping, or horticulture is a huge plus!
- People Person: You have excellent customer service and communication skills and enjoy connecting with people.
- Can-Do Attitude: You're energetic, enthusiastic, and ready to tackle any task with a smile.
- Physical Stamina: You're comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and can lift up to 50 lbs.
- Weekend Warrior: You're available to work weekends and during our busy seasonal periods.
