Route Planning & Driver Support
- Plan and coordinate efficient routes for timely pickups and deliveries using McLeod TMS.
- Dispatch drivers and monitor their progress using Samsara, iBright, and other tools.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers and customers.
- Ensure drivers stay productive, supported, and on the move.
- Help manage fuel planning and optimize trip efficiency
Daily Engagement & Communication
- Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with drivers.
- Coach, encourage, and provide daily support through check-ins and real-time updates.
- Monitor load progress and proactively resolve delays or disruptions.
Operational & Customer Service Excellence
- Accurately enter and manage load information via phone, email, customer portals, or EDI.
- Track, trace, and follow up on loads to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to solve problems and identify process improvements.
- Prepare reports on delivery performance and operational trends.
Maintenance & Time-Off Coordination
- Work with maintenance to schedule equipment repairs and service.
- Manage driver time-off requests and balance company needs with driver expectations.
Compliance & Safety Leadership
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
- Promote a culture of safe practices and ethical decision-making in all operations.
- Must have understanding of DOT hours of service, and plan trucks accordingly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
