Warehouse Technician
Location: Clintonville, WI
Department: Warehouse / Materials
Reports To: Department Manager
Schedule: 2:00PM - 10:00PM, Monday through Friday
Position Summary
Under the direction of the department manager, the 2nd Shift Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting both the Receiving Department and Shipping Warehouse department when needed. This role helps ensure materials and finished goods are accurately received, organized, stored, and prepared for shipment.

Safety

- Identify safety concerns and assist with implementing solutions
- Participate in monthly safety meetings and safety initiatives if requested
- Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures
Technical / Operational Duties
Receiving – Approximately 50%
- Receive incoming materials, products, and supplies
- Unload trucks and verify shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documents
- Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages, or discrepancies
- Accurately record received materials in the warehouse/inventory system (WM and LX)
- Operate powered industrial vehicles including forklift, and roll clamp
- Transport materials throughout the facility while maintaining product quality
- Complete daily safety inspection forms for PIV equipment
- Maintain an organized and clean receiving area
Shipping / Goods Warehouse – Approximately 50%
- Pick, stage, package, and prepare finished goods for shipment
- Verify products, quantities, labels, and shipping documentation before loading
- Safely load trucks and shipping containers
- Maintain accurate inventory and product locations
- Load outgoing shipments safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipment records

General Responsibilities
- Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Follow Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) for assigned tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 6S standards
- Report on unsafe conditions or hazards to management
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must be willing to be flexible on possible shift changes during the week to accommodate business needs
Physical Requirements
- Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, twist, and reach
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment and operate powered equipment
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
Experience
- Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred
- Minimum of one year forklift experience preferred
- CDL license or experience is a plus
Skills & Competencies
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Effective communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Experience using computers and RF scanners
Certifications (Preferred)
- Forklift certification
- Roll clamp certification
- Reach truck certification
