Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in various subjects, including Math, Science, and Engineering. This role involves working with students of different ages and learning levels, providing personalized instruction to help them achieve their academic goals. The Tutor will be responsible for developing engaging lesson plans and utilizing effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide tutoring in subjects such as Math (Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus), Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics), and Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical).
- Utilize learning technology and resources to enhance the tutoring experience.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
- Collaborate with parents and educators to track student development and address any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching in relevant subjects.
- Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques.
- Experience working with children or adults in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of physiology, microbiology, genetics, organic chemistry, biochemistry, statistics, differential equations, data structures, machine learning, chemical engineering, computer science, special education, early childhood education, and preschool experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent computer skills for utilizing educational technology effectively.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
