Rock CFO is based in Kansas City, MO. We work with clients in the greater Kansas City area and help them build a strong financial foundation. Our typical client size is under $50M in annual revenue. Foundedin 2019, Rock CFO has team members in Kansas City and Salt Lake City.
Summary of Role
We are seeking a Finance leader to work alongside several companies in $1M to $5M in revenue range. You will have great flexibility and can choose your schedule. You might choose to work 10 hours a week or 30 hours a week, depending on your availability. You will work with the company president and alongside key team members to ensure the company is making wise financial decisions and built on a strong financial foundation. These roles will typically be hybrid in nature with some time onsite.
Responsibilities
Financial Leadership
You will engage in numerous financial roles:
- Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)functions such as:
- Build annual plans,
- Determine product, segment, and customer profitability
- Forecast margins
- Provide insights to improve profitability, cash flow, and strengthen operations.
- Forecast Cash Flow.
- Treasury management to help improve access to capital. Work with banking partners.
- Work with team members to improve data flow from sales to cash in bank.
- Engage with accounting team to ensure complete and accurate financial statements.
Overall you will bring an increased visibility to company performance and add insights that lead to a stronger overall company financially. You may be the lead Finance person on the team reporting directly to the owner. It is meaningful and valuable work.
