We are looking for a Spanish-speaking, forward-thinking Pharmacy Technician to join our team and contribute meaningfully to both daily operations and long-term innovation. Position Summary
We are seeking a high-performing technician who thrives on taking initiative, supporting clinical and compounding services, and helping shape patient experiences. You’ll be a key team member in both the front-end and back-end of the pharmacy—handling prescription workflows, compounding, patient communications, and internal projects that help us operate more efficiently and impactfully.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately fill and label prescriptions in compliance with Texas regulations
- Prepare non-sterile compounded medications (e.g., troches, creams, suspensions) following USP guidelines
- Communicate fluently in Spanish and English with patients, caregivers, and providers
- Assist with med sync, compliance packaging, and immunization workflows
- Process insurance claims, resolve rejections, and complete prior authorizations
- Maintain and reconcile inventory; support ordering, receiving, and purchasing
- Contribute to specialty compounding product development, such as dermatology creams or pediatric flavoring protocols
- Support internal initiatives, such as quality assurance, SOP development, and workflow improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish and English (Required)
- Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License (in good standing)
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience (retail, outpatient, or compounding) or other related experience
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with pharmacy software
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)
- Prior experience in non-sterile compounding and med sync programs
- Background in inventory management or quality assurance
- Interest in clinical service support or leading special projects
